Thanks for these posts. You are right, I am one of those who did not know you in the "beforetime." But my guess is we would have been friends and I would have trusted you then too.
I have never had a "beforetime" when it comes to disability. But do long for the body and soul I had before cancer. I wish I could go back and remember what it feels like to be whole. I am missing a part of me but don't know where to find it. Perhaps it is gone.
