Can you believe I'm still in the office?
It is interesting how you tease apart fears from strengths. I'll need to give that some thought and let you know what I learn by looking inward.
Another challenge I had growing up was that service-providers seemed to be "empowered" by working with those who had disabilities. A number of the most insensitive and harsh comments I ever heard were from so called professionals in the field. Thank goodness that is changing.
